Les dix suites de Kayotei sont aménagées dans le style traditionnel sukiya d'un pavillon de cérémonie du thé : les clients ne portent pas de pantoufles dans ce ryokan, les allées sont en tatami, comme chez un parent ou un ami proche. des différences qui font du temps passé à Kayotei une expérience très chaleureuse et accueillante.

Wanosato est situé au coeur de la préfecture de Gifu, près de Hida-Takayama. Le nom « Takayama » signifie « grande montagne ».
