DETAILED ITINERARY

Ashikaga Flower Park has more than 350 wisterias, at their peak in spring when the Park’s variable entry fee is the highest. The most memorable displays are the wisteria tunnels up to 80 m (87 yards) long that the visitor walks through enjoying the beauty of the pendulous racemes from below. There are various colors of wisteria to be seen, such as pink, purple, blue, and white–lavender being the most plentiful when flowering.

We start off in Japan’s busy capital, Tokyo, located just two hours away from Ashikaga Flower Park. After picking you up in one of our luxurious private vehicles, we will drive you through some amazing countryside views to Ashikaga Flower Park and the two destinations of your choice.

MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTION :
Ashikaga Flower Park (April 13 to May 19)

Ashikaga Flower Park is a park of about 9 hectares (23 acres) that showcases the beauty of mainly wisteria (fuji) as well as many other flowers. It is the most famous attraction in the city of Ashikaga in Tochigi prefecture.

Ashikaga Flower Park is also known for the remarkable illumination of the garden at night. Lighting up period is from April 20 (Sat.) to May 12 (Sun.) at 5:30 p.m. ~ 9:00 p.m.

Ashikaga Flower Park will be the highlight of this tour. Depending on your preference to visit the park at daytime or night, the tour will move to a nearby historical spot or onto Kawagoe area and/or city inside Tokyo before or after. Guests can choose two destinations from the following options:

FOLLOWING ATTRACTION OPTIONS :
Option 01: Ashikaga Gakko

Ashikaga Gakkō is Japan’s oldest academic institution. It is located in Ashikaga city, Tochigi Prefecture. After the Meiji Restoration in the late 1800s the school was disestablished. After 1990 several wooden buildings including the former student living quarters, classrooms and the library were restored as a National Historic Site and today the school is under the direction of Ashikaga city board of education.

Now the Ashikaga Gakko has beautiful gardens and lovely, peaceful grounds to walk around.

Entrance fee (separate from Tour price, to be purchased on the spot)
Adults: JPY420 per person / High School Students: JPY210 per person

Option 02: Kawagoe (Recommended)

Kawagoe Private Package Tour

Kawagoe is a Japanese city northwest of Tokyo. An Edo-period castle town, it’s known for its old clay warehouses and merchant homes, called Kurazukuri , retains an ambience reminiscent of an old town from the Edo Period (1603-1867) and allows us to imagine the streets from past centuries. Thereby, Kawagoe became known as “Little Edo”. As Kawagoe was an important city to the capital for trade and strategic purposes, the shogun installed some of their most loyal men as lords of Kawagoe Castle. Close ties ensued between the two cities and over the years, Kawagoe inherited many aspects of the Edo culture and architecture.

Option 03: Shinjuku

Shinjuku Explore Mt Mitake Private Package Tour

Shinjukuis one of the 23 city wards of Tokyo, but the name commonly refers to just the large entertainment, business and shopping area around Shinjuku Station. Northeast of the station lies Kabukicho, Japan’s largest and wildest red light district, while department stores, subterranean malls and electronic shops surround Shinjuku Station on all four sides, including the redeveloped Southern Terrace.

Option 04: Shibuya (Recommended)

Shibuya Explore Mt Mitake Private Package Tour

Shibuya is one of the twenty-three city wards of Tokyo, but often refers to just the popular shopping and entertainment area found around Shibuya Station. In this regard, Shibuya is one of Tokyo’s most colorful and busy districts, packed with shopping, dining and nightclubs serving swarms of visitors that come to the district everyday. Over a dozen major department store branches can be found around the area catering to all types of shoppers.
