DETAILED ITINERARY

We start off in Nagoya. After picking you up in one of our luxurious private vehicles, we will drive you through the three destinations of your choice.

Option 01: Nagoya Castle

Nagoya Castle Nagoya and Nabana no Sato Private Package Tour

Nagoya Castle was built in the beginning of the Edo Period as the seat of one of the three branches of the ruling Tokugawa family, the Owari branch. As such, it was one of the largest castles in the country, and the castle town around it ultimately grew to become Japan’s fourth largest city.

Entrance fee (separate from tour price, to be purchased on the spot)
Adult: JPY500 per person

Option 02: Oasis 21

Oasis 21 Nagoya and Nabana No Sato Private Package Tour

This park opened in 2002 in Sakae. This is complex multi-level park with the theme of “Space ship Aqua” that is the symbol of the park and abundant throughout. The “Field of Green” is on the ground level where flowers and trees are planted. The “Galaxy Platform” is basement level where many events are held. Also on the ground level, there are various shops and restaurants, and a connecting to bus terminal on the second level.

Option 03: Atsuta Jingu

Atsuta Jingu Nagoya and Nabana no Sato Private Package Tour

Atsuta Shrine is one of Shinto’s most important shrines. It enshrines the Sun Goddess Amaterasu and stores the sacred sword Kusanagi, which is one of the three imperial regalia. Note, however, that the sword is never displayed to the public. Most castle buildings were destroyed in the air raids of 1945, including the castle keep and the palace buildings. The current ferro-concrete reconstruction of the castle keep dates from 1959 and – before its closure in May 2018 – contained a modern museum with exhibits about the castle’s history. The park surrounding the castle keep features two circles of moats and impressive walls with corner turrets. It becomes an attractive hanami spot during the cherry blossom season which usually peaks in late March or early April.

Option 04: Science museum

Nagoya City Science Museum Nagoya and Nabana no Sato Private Package Tour

The Nagoya City Science Museum features a characteristic giant silver globe, which houses one of the world’s largest planetariums. Programs at the planetarium vary monthly and cover current astronomical phenomena. Although shows are conducted only in Japanese, they can nevertheless be interesting just by looking at the stars and other elements of nature being projected on the huge spherical screen.

Entrance fee (separate from tour price, to be purchased on the spot)
Adult: JPY400 per person (JPY800 including show at the planetarium)

Option 05: Nabana No Sato

Nabana No Sato Nagoya and Nabana No Sato Private Package Tour

In the site of 230,000 square meters are the following facilities: “Begonia Garden, a Flower Garden of the Andes” where about 12,000 flowers of many kinds vividly bloom throughout the year, a spa named “Nagashima Onsen Satonoyu”, “Nagashima Beer Restaurant” where visitors can enjoy three types of local beer, and eight restaurants of Japanese, Chinese and Western styles.
