DETAILED ITINERARY
We start off in Okayama. After picking you up in one of our luxurious private vehicles, we will drive you to your chosen destinations.
Destination 01: Tsuyama Castle and Kakuzan Park
The ruin has been chosen as one of Japan’s top 100 castles and well-known as one of Japan’s top 100 cherry blossom sites. The Tsuyama Cherry Blossom Festival held every year in early to mid-April gives locals and foreigners the chance to experience the park’s 1,000 or so cherry trees. Kakuzan Park is built on the ruins of an ancient castle, Tsuyama Castle, which was built about 400 years ago.
Destination 02: Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter
The Bikan Historical Quarter, has been coined to be the Venice of Japan, with mixtures of Japanese residential characteristics and European western influences. This well-preserved district of traditional buildings will take you back into time, during the 1600s when Kurashiki was an important hub of bartering and transporting goods throughout Japan and the Chugoku region. Although these buildings and storefronts have been well persevered and restored to keeps its original state, the interiors have been transformed into charming cafes, boutiques, souvenir shops and museums. A willow-lined canal also winds through the quarter, allowing visitors to take pleasant gondola rides, which give a very picturesque view of the quarter.
The tour will end with us dropping you off at a location of your choice in Okayama.
