DETAILED ITINERARY
We start off in Sapporo. After picking you up in one of our luxurious private vehicles, we will drive you through the three destinations of your choice.
Option 01: Cape Kamui
Cape Kamui is a cape with steep cliff jutting out into the Sea of Japan from Shakotan Peninsula in Niseko-Shakotan-Otaru Kaigan Quasi-national Park. The kamui means a god in Ainu language. The distance is around 1.5 km away from a traffic gate along National Route to the end of a road, and there are a public parking lot, a public restroom and a rest house named Kamui-Ban. A restaurant and a souvenir shop are at the building, and seafood rice bowls or a soft serve ice cream can be eaten.
Option 02: Cape Shakotan / Shimamui Coast
Cape Shakotan is on the northernmost tip of the Shakotan Peninsula. There are three walking tracks, during which you can see Jorokoiwa, from the legend of Yoshitsune, as well as the Shimamui Coast, one of Japan’s Best 100 Beaches.
Option 03: Otaru Canal / Sakaimachi Street
Otaru Canal was a central part of the city’s busy port in the first half of the 20th century. Large vessels were unloaded by smaller ships, which then transported the goods to warehouses along the canal.
The tour will end with us dropping you off at a location of your choice in Sapporo.
