DETAILED ITINERARY
Destination 01: Nezu Shrine

Nezu Shrine Walking Tour: Historical sites in Tokyo Private Package Tour

Tokyo’s Bunkyo ward near Ueno Park is one of Japan’s oldest shrines, and certainly one of its most attractive. Nezu Shrine is set in lush greenery, with ponds of carp, pathways that are tunnels of small shrine arches, and elegant, beautifully colored, wooden structures that reflect Japanese culture in all its age and beauty.

Destination 02: Yanaka Ginza

Yanaka Ginza Walking Tour: Historical sites in Tokyo Private Package Tour

Yanaka is one of the few districts in Tokyo where the shitamachi atmosphere, an old town ambience reminiscent of Tokyo from past decades, still survives. Throughout the district, there is an air of nostalgia and a rustic charm. It is within walking distance of Ueno Park, and offers a sightseeing opportunity different from the metropolitan city feel of other parts of Tokyo.

Destination 03: Nakamise Street and Sensoji

Tokyo’s most visited tourist destination, Asakusa is known for the great historical site complex and the old downtown atmosphere. The area attracts both Japanese and foreign tourists all year around.

One of best attractions of Asakusa is Nakamise Street which connects the main gate of Sensoji Temple, Kaminarimon Gate, and the main hall. The 250 m approach is lined with numbers of souvenir shops and food stalls and it’s a great spot to try traditional Tokyo’s street food.
