In what languages can JAPAN PRIVATE TOUR communicate with customers?
They have staff who speak English, Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese, and French. You can let them know which language you’re most comfortable with.
Tour Support refers to their personnel services. They currently provide two types of guides: Travel Companions (TC) and Region Experts (RE).
What is a Travel Companion (TC)?
A Travel Companion is based in Tokyo and assists with tickets, photography, communication with local staff/vendors, guiding to destinations, time-keeping, and general help. They speak your language and Japanese. However, they might not have deep regional knowledge outside Tokyo. For overnight trips outside Tokyo, an accommodation fee applies, and they must be on standby one night before the arrival date. TC service outside Tokyo is only available with private transportation.
What is a Region Expert (RE)?
A Region Expert is a guide who lives long-term in a specific area and knows the region deeply. They usually speak English and Japanese. If you require another language, the price will differ. REs only guide within their own region. When traveling to another area, a different RE will guide you. Availability needs to be confirmed, especially in peak seasons.
Does JAPAN PRIVATE TOUR help with purchasing international flight tickets and obtaining visas to Japan?
They are based in Japan and only help with domestic flight tickets and land tour services. They do not provide itineraries for visa purposes before tour confirmation.
Can you help us reserve an apartment in Japan?
Yes, we can reserve premium established apartments, hotels, and ryokans in Japan. However, they do not make reservations via Airbnb for security and comfort reasons.
Is it possible to have a joint trip with another group?
No, all tours are private and exclusively for your group. They do not combine groups to maintain privacy and comfort.
